Backlight bleed occurs in LCD monitors when light from the CCFL or LED backlight escapes around the edges or corners of the panel frame where the bezel exerts uneven pressure on the liquid crystal layer.
What is the difference between Backlight Bleed and IPS Glow?
Backlight bleed appears as localized yellow/white light flares along panel borders that stay in the exact same spot regardless of your viewing angle. IPS glow is an inherent optical characteristic of IPS panels that changes intensity and position as you move your head.
